iPhone / Windows Mobile Programmer

Job Description
The person in this position will be responsible for programming and maintaining ASI's cutting edge iPod Touch and Windows Mobile application for the restaurant industry, written in Objective C and C++ (client-side) and Delphi (server-side). It requires an individual with a high level of attention to detail who is highly skilled in design, development, and maintenance of complex software programs. The environment is dynamic, requiring the ability to respond quickly to changing priorities across multiple projects.

Ideal candidate must have programming, troubleshooting, and debugging skills that command respect from peers; must have strong working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and design, be fluent in Objective C and C++ and Delphi (object pascal) programming, and be familiar with the Mac/iPhone API, Windows API, XML, and SOAP.

Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Required Skills
• Minimum of 5 years work experience.
• Expert in Objective C and C++
• Working knowledge of Mac or iPhone API
• Working knowledge of the Windows API
• Familiarity with XML/Soap
• Experience with advanced development and source control tools, quality assurance strategies, and the full project lifecycle
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills
• Experience with Object Pascal (Delphi)
• Experience working with databases (dbase, Access, MS SQL Server)
• Experience with point-of-sale software design.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations.
